Decline reported on production of some building materials

October 21, Fineko/abc.az. The manufacture of construction materials in Azerbaijan grew by 25.9% over Jan-Sept 2020.

ABC.AZ was informed at the State Statistics Committee that despite this, there is a decrease in the production of building products compared with the same term of 2019.

Thus, the production of cement lowered by 0.6%, precast concrete by 19.5%, construction limestone by 30.6%, marble, travertine, alabaster and products from them by 34.1%, asphalt by 48.5%, building blocks of cement, artificial stone or concrete, and brick by 44.5%.
