February 20, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan’s insurer Ateshgah has summed up the results of its activity for 2017.

Company’s chairman of board Azer Aliyev said that 2017 was a successful year for them.

"In 2017, we've learned how to be more sustainable and prudent. This year helped build new plans and strategies to meet the current market situation and look for ways of their realization, and also accelerated the process of offering new services at new markets," he said.

Aliyev added he is sure that 2018 is going to be even more successful for Ateshgah.

At the end of 2017 Ateshgah’s premiums totaled AZN 39.069 million and compensation payments AZN 17.39 million. Payments on compulsory insurance of vehicle owner’s civil liability amounted to AZN 10.8 million.

By early 2018 Ateshgah Heyat’s premiums reached AZN 39.359 million and compensations AZN 54.85 million. Compensation payments on accumulated life insurance amounted to AZN 52.18 million and on compulsory insurance against accidents at work AZN 1.737 million.

Ateshgah has been operating since 1996 and has been a member of the Compulsory Insurers Bureau since 2014.
