January 18, Fineko/abc.az. Oil prices continue declining in Monday’s trading amid the strengthening of the US dollar.

By 9:20 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the price of March’s Brent crude futures fell by $0.52 (0.94%) to $54.58 per barrel. At the end of trading on 15 January the Brent futures for March fell in price by $1.32 (2.34%) to $55.10 per barrel.

By 9:20 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the WTI oil futures for February fell in price by $0.45 (0.86%) to $51.91 per barrel. At the end of trading on 15 January the WTI oil futures for February decreased by $1.21 (2.26%) to $52.36 per barrel.

At the end of last week Brent crude oil declined by 1.6% and WTI grew by 0.2%.
