Azercell Telecom pays taxes for AZN 1.6 bn

February 28, Fineko/abc.az. Azercell Telecom, Azerbaijan’s leading mobile operator in the communications market, has summed up the results of activity for 2017.

Company's president Vahid Mursaliyev stated at today’s press conference that last year Azercell transferred AZN 179.7 million of taxes to the State Budget.

"For the period of its 21-year activity Azercell has paid taxes for AZN 1.637 bn,” Mursaliyev said.

He pointed out that the Company invested $24.6 million in development of the telecommunications sector in 2017, and - $467.779 million in 1996-2017.
