March 4, Fineko/abc.az. State Customs Committee’s chairman Safar Mehdiyev has explained a range of issues at today's press conference.

ABC.AZ reports that he reacted to the accusations on social media in connection with the checks carried out in the Committee.

He noted that this information does not correspond to reality: "The information about the conduct of any checks in the Committee and the occurrence of a deficit of AZN 700 million is absolutely unfounded and false. Some forces spread such misinformation and try to cast a shadow on the Committee's activities. We are not a factory or a plant, so that we could have a deficit. I presented the results, if they don’t see them, they are blind."
