Apartments intended for ex-IDPs allotted to families of martyrs

April 9, Fineko/abc.az. The ceremony of allotting apartments to families of martyrs and disabled people of the Karabakh War was held in Umid settlement of Garadagh district of Baku.

ABC.AZ reports that at the ceremony Labor & Social Protection Minister Sahil Babayev noted that up to 3,000 apartments and private houses will be allotted in 2021, this year the program for providing housing and private houses will be expanded almost 5 times compared with 2018.

"The apartments constructed on the task of President Ilham Aliyev for former displaced persons are also allotted to families of war martyrs and invalids. Currently, according to the 2021 plan, 230 apartments have already been allotted, including 30 apartments in residential buildings in Umid settlement. In total, 9,430 apartments and private houses have been allotted to date," the minister emphasized.
