Number of millionaires in world has increased by 5 million people

June 23, Fineko/abc.az. Swiss bank Credit Suisse has published an updated version of World State Report 2020.

ABC.AZ informs that the report provides information about the size of the fortune of millionaires.

According to the report, by the end of 2020 alone there were 56.1 million millionaires in the world - 5.2 million more than a year earlier.

Their total wealth exceeds $173 trillion.

Currently, there are 590 million people in the world with fortune of $100,000 up to $1 million, and the value of their fortune is about $162 trillion.
