Five banks’ loan portfolio decreased in Azerbaijan

August 6, Fineko/abc.az. Out of the 26 banks operating in Azerbaijan, the loan portfolio of five ones as of 1 July 2021 was smaller in annual comparison.

ABC.AZ reports that among them are the Baku branch of the National Bank of Pakistan, Premium Bank, Xalq Bank, Azerbaijan Industrial Bank and AFB Bank.

The largest decrease was recorded on AFB Bank (69.3%) and the smallest on Pakistan Bank (6.2%).

The loan portfolio of the remaining 21 banks has increased. The highest dynamics was recorded on Bank VTB Azerbaijan (70.2%) and the lowest on Muğan Bank (4.3%).
