Oil prices continue growing, and Brent is at $85.50 per barrel

October 18, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of standard grades are increasing in Monday’s trading after a significant increase following the past week.

By 10:50 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the December’s Brent crude futures rose by $0.64 (0.75%) up to $85.50 per barrel. Following the trading on 15 October the Brent crude futures for December grew in price by $0.86 (1.14%) up to $84.86 per barrel.

By 10:50 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the WTI oil futures for November rose in price by $0.92 (1.12%) up to $83.20 per barrel. Following the trading on 15 October, the price of November’s WTI oil futures increased by $0.97 (1.19%) up to $82.28 per barrel.

Over the past week Brent has increased in price by 3% and WTI by 3.69%.
