April 17, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani Railways (ADY) continues capital repairs of railroad Baku – Beyuk Kesik.

ADY reports that overhaul of a 3.3 km section of the main tracks of railway stations Shamkir, Tovuz and Tatly has been started.

"Repairing of this section will be finished within four the next days," ADY said.

ADY and Czech company MORAVIA STEEL signed an additional agreement on 14 April 2015 to the export agreement on the 2nd phase of the project of reconstruction of Azerbaijani railway lines. The contract envisages material & technical supply and overhaul of 600 km of Baku – Beyuk Kesik railway line. To date, 519 km of railroads have been repaired as part of the 2nd stage.
