November 26, Fineko/abc.az. Starting from next year smartcard gas meters approved by gas supplier Azerigaz of the State Oil Company (SOCAR) will operate as online counters. ABC.AZ reports that Azerigaz CEO Ruslan Aliyev stated today about this to journalists within the “Open Doors” campaign. According to Aliyev, work is currently underway on the occasion: "At the expense of online meters, gas consumers will be able to download payments via a social network."
