A new state standard on farmers adopted


November 29, Fineko/abc.az. A new state standard “Professional Farmer Organization – Rules” containing international requirements has been adopted in Azerbaijan with the purpose to improve the activities of professional farms in the country and ensure their sustainable development.

ABC.AZ reports that the draft standard developed by the Azerbaijan State Agrarian University within the framework of the private sector development project of the United States Development Agency (USAID) was approved by public legal entity Azerbaijan Institute of Standardization, subordinate to the State Service for Antimonopoly Supervision & Consumer Market Control of the Ministry of Economy and submitted to the State Fund of Normative Documents on Standardization.
