Oil gets more expensive, and Brent is at $88.73 a barrel

January 24, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of standard grades are increasing in Monday's trading.

By 9:30 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the March’s Brent crude futures rose by $0.84 (0.96%) up to $88.73 per barrel. Following the trading on 21 January, the price of Brent crude futures for March fell by $0.49 (0.55%) to $87.89 per barrel.

By 9:30 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the WTI oil futures for March grew in price by $0.73 (0.86%) up to $85.87 per barrel. Following the trading on 21 January, the price of March’s WTI oil futures declined by $0.41 (0.48%) to $85.14 per barrel.
