Banks that did not pay profit tax in 2021

March 3, Fineko/abc.az. Several of the 26 banks operating in Azerbaijan did not pay profit tax last year.

ABC.AZ informs that among them are Bank BTB, Bank VTB Azerbaijan, Günay Bank, Muğan Bank, Unibank, Yelo Bank and Express Bank, the Baku branch of the National Bank of Pakistan.

One of them is a Pakistani bank, which ended 2021 with a loss.

The rest of the banks paid different amounts of profit tax. The highest figure was recorded in Kapital Bank (AZN 51.4 million) and the lowest indicator on the Baku branch of the National Bank of Iran (AZN 4,000).
