Forecast: Average monthly salary in Azerbaijan to exceed 1,000 manats

March 29, Fineko/abc.az. This year, the average monthly salary in Azerbaijan will increase by 0.5% (against 2021) and reach 811 manats, ABC.AZ informs with reference to Deloitte’s report.

"Starting from this year the minimum wage in Azerbaijan has been increased from 250 up to 300 manats. This reform is expected to lead to an increase in average wages in the coming years. In 2023, the average monthly salary in Azerbaijan should increase by 0.2% and in 2024-2025 by 0.8%, amounting to 992, 1,058 and 1,143 manats, respectively," the document says.
