Citywide Clean–up Day to be held in Baku - Appeal to population

May 20, Fineko/abc.az. In connection with the summer season, the Baku City Executive Power has made a decision to hold a citywide internal clean-up (subbotnik) in the capital tomorrow, May 21.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Mayor’s Office that during the internal clean-up, avenues and streets, sidewalks, curbs and lampposts, railings, grilles, shop windows, kiosks and bus stops, trees and green spaces will be washed, trees will be cut, and landscaping works will be carried out in courtyards and neighborhoods.

The Baku executive power called on the collectives of enterprises, departments and organizations, residents of the capital to be active at the subbotnik. The Mayor’s Office also appealed to entrepreneurs and employees of the private sector and invited them to take part in creating cleanliness and order on the facades and showcases of their retail, catering facilities, etc.
