June 7, Fineko/abc.az. Against the background of ongoing sanctions against Russia and Belarus, a Belarusian bank has also been sanctioned.

ABC.AZ reports that earlier, in February, Japan froze the assets of VEB, Promsvyazbank and the Bank of Russia, and also imposed sanctions on transactions with the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.

Later, Japan blocked the assets of Otkritie Bank, Novikombank, Sovcombank and VTB, and then Sberbank and Alfa-Bank were also included in the Japanese sanctions list.
Russian President Vladimir Putin, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and a number of other representatives of the Russian authorities and large businessmen are among those who have fallen under Japanese sanctions.
Export restrictions have been imposed against certain organizations from the Russian Federation, and a number of goods cannot be delivered from Japan to Russia.
