Samir Sharifov urges a foreign bank to participate in reconstruction of Karabakh

Azerbaijan considers it necessary to closely involve international financial organizations, including the Black Sea Trade & Development Bank (BSTDB), in the reconstruction of the liberated territories. ABC.AZ reports that Finance Minister Samir Sharifov said this at the Azerbaijan-BSTDB business forum.

“Given the fact that the BSTDB has fewer capital reserves than other international financial institutions and is specialized in financing the private sector, we invite the Bank to provide credit support to business projects of local and foreign entrepreneurs in Karabakh and East Zangazur. We consider it reasonable to start the relevant preparations now," the minister added.
