June 29, Fineko/abc.az. The U.S. Administration has announced new sanctions against the Russian defense industry.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign media that as part of the sanctions, the U.S. imposed a ban on the import of gold from Russia.

"The import of gold from the Russian Federation to the U.S. is prohibited, except in cases provided for by law, or a license, or other permission from the Bureau of Foreign Assets Control," the document says.

It is reported that the U.S. government has included in the sanctions list 70 organizations and 29 persons of critical importance to the Russian defense industry, including Rostec, which is the cornerstone of the Russian defense, industrial, technological and manufacturing sectors.
