June 29, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijani-Georgian Business Forum has been held in Baku.

ABC.AZ reports that it was announced at the business forum that so far Azerbaijani companies have invested more than $3.5 bn in Georgia, and $1.5 bn of this amount accounted for SOCAR.

"Azerbaijan, being the main trading partner of Georgia, is one of the countries that invest in this country the most. Azerbaijani companies are the largest taxpayers of Georgia. Thousands of jobs have been created at their expense in the neighboring country. Despite the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), trade for over $1 bn was conducted between the two countries last year," it was noted at the forum.
