Non-oil GDP grew by an average of 3.5% a year

July 22, Fineko/abc.az. In 2012-2021, non-oil & non-gas GDP increased by 3.5% annually on average, reaching from AZN 25.4 bn in 2011 up to AZN 57.8 bn in 2021. The share of the non-oil sector grew from 48.8% in 2011 up to 62.2% in 2021.

ABC.AZ reports that this is reflected in Action Plan "Socio-Economic Development Strategy 2022-26".

The non–oil & non-gas industry, which is the industry driving force of economic growth, grew 2.3-fold, agriculture 1.5-fold, and the sphere of information & communications 2.4-fold for the reported period.
