Oil grows in price, and Brent is at $107.20 a barrel

July 28, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are increasing in Thursday’s trading after a steady rise the day before amid the data on decline in energy stocks in the U.S.

According to the U.S. Department of Energy, country’s oil reserves last week fell by 4.52 million barrels, gasoline by 3.3 million barrels, distillates by 784,000 barrels.

At the London ICE Futures Exchange the September’s Brent crude futures rose by $0.58 (0.54%) to $107.20 per barrel by 09:15 am. Following the trading on 27 July, the price of September’s Brent crude futures rose by $2.22 (2.13%) up to $106.62 per barrel.

At the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the September’s WTI oil futures increased in price by $0.92 (0.95%) up to $98.18 per barrel by 09:18 am. Following the trading on 27 July, the cost of September’s WTI oil futures grew by $2.28 (2.40%) up to $97.26 per barrel.
