Oil keeps on falling in price after a sharp drop the day before, Brent is at $99.28 a barrel

August 2, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades continue to fall in Tuesday’s trading after sharp decline following the previous trading.

At the London ICE Futures Exchange the October’s Brent crude futures fell by $0.75 (0.75%) to $99.28 per barrel by 09:18 am. Following the trading on 1 August, the price of October’s Brent crude futures fell by $3.94 (3.79%) to $100.03 per barrel.

At the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the September’s WTI oil futures decreased in price by $0.53 (0.56%) to $93.36 per barrel by 09:19 am. Following the trading on 1 August, the price of September’s WTI oil futures slumped by $4.73 (4.80%) to $93.89 per barrel.
