Flights from London Heathrow Airport halted

August 2, Fineko/abc.az. British Airways has suspended the sale of tickets for flights from London Heathrow airport for a week.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign media that British Airlines halted the sale of short-term tickets (flights to other UK cities or European cities) from Heathrow until 8 August to reduce congestion at the airport and restore the balance of supply and demand.

Heathrow, London's largest airport, has decided since 11 September to limit the number of daily flights to 100,000 in order to eliminate the chaos.
