Cost of oil grows after falling the day before, and Brent is at $97.04 a barrel

August 4, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are increasing in Thursday’s trading after sharp decline in the previous session.

At the London ICE Futures Exchange the October’s Brent crude futures rose by $0.26 (0.27%) to $97.04 per barrel by 09:27 am. Following the trading on 3 August, the price of October’s Brent crude futures slumped by $3.76 (3.74%) to $96.78 per barrel.

At the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the September’s WTI oil futures grew in price by $0.36 (0.40%) to $91.02 per barrel by 09:28 am. Following the trading on 3 August, the price of September’s WTI oil futures fell by $3.76 (3.98%) to $90.66 per barrel.
