August 4, Fineko/abc.az. Four out of 26 banks operating in Azerbaijan as of 1 July 2022 had no investments in securities in their assets.

ABC.AZ reports that among them are Azerbaijan Industrial Bank, Gunay Bank, MuganBank and Premium Bank.

The remaining 22 banks invested different amounts in the stock market. Three of them have investments in excess of AZN 1 bn. Among them are Kapital Bank (AZN 1.99 bn), PASHA Bank (AZN 1.699 bn) and the International Bank of Azerbaijan (AZN 1.405 bn).

The amount of investments in securities is from AZN 100 million to AZN 1 bn in 2 banks, from AZN 10 million to AZN 100 million in 13 banks and less than AZN 10 million in four banks.
