Bank of England raised discount rate to 1.75%

August 4, Fineko/abc.az. The Bank of England has raised the discount rate again.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign media that the Bank increased the percentage by 0.50 points to 1.75%.

The Bank of England has warned that the country's economy, which is under pressure from rising inflation, is heading to recession that will last more than a year, while at the same time seeing the highest increase in interest rates in the last 27 years.
