Cost of oil declines, and Brent is at $96.42 a barrel

August 9, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are falling in Tuesday’s trading after rising at the end of the previous session.

At the London ICE Futures Exchange the October’s Brent crude futures fell by $0.23 (0.24%) to $96.42 per barrel by 09:19 am. Following the trading on 8 August, the cost of October’s Brent crude futures grew by $1.73 (1.82%) up to $96.65 per barrel.

At the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the September’s WTI oil futures decreased in price by $0.20 (0.22%) to $90.56 per barrel by 09:19 am. Following the trading on 8 August, the price of September’s WTI oil futures rose by $1.75 (1.97%) to $90.76 per barrel.
