Baku trade turnover grew by 4.6%

August 10, Fineko/abc.az. The volume of trade turnover in Baku for Jan-Jun 2022 increased by 4.6% (against Jan-Jul 2021) up to AZN 13.5 bn, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Baku City Statistics Department.

The value of foods, beverages and tobacco products sold in the retail chain increased by 15.1% (against Jan-Jul 2021) up to AZN 7.779 bn and non-foods decreased by 7.5% to AZN 5.226 bn.

36.1% of consumer goods are sold at enterprises with the status of a legal entity, 46.7% – in retail facilities owned by individual entrepreneurs, 17.2% – in the markets of the capital.
