September 2, Fineko/abc.az. Silk Way West Airlines LLC (a subsidiary airline of Silk Way Holding LLC) has announced large profit in the 1st half of 2022, ABC.AZ informs with reference to airline's semi-annual financial report.

Company’s income for Jan-Jun 2022 amounted to AZN 1.78 bn and expenditures AZN 987.3 million. This made its operation profitable by AZN 805.78 million.

Silk Way West paid AZN 165.83 million of profit tax for the past half of 2022, and its net profit reached AZN 602.3 million for this period.

Since the airline has not submitted a semi-annual report for previous years, this makes it impossible to compare statistical indicators, but in its report for 2021, it reported net profit of AZN 920.2 million.
