September 2, Fineko/abc.az. "Packaging companies are more interested in opening enterprises in districts of Azerbaijan than in Baku and Absheron," ABC.AZ reports, citing Kamran Hajizade, the chairman of board of the Association of Manufacturers in the Packaging Industry of Azerbaijan.

He added that wages, lower costs allocated for the acquisition of territories make opening a business in country’s districts attractive for packaging companies.

Nevertheless, there is a need to apply a number of tax benefits: "We, as AQSA, have proposed to the State Tax Service that tax benefits should be applied to packaging companies that want to open enterprises in the districts. At that, it is proposed to cut taxes on wages of employees working at these enterprises."
