Azerbaijan’s head discussed importance of Southern Gas Corridor with US State Dept rep

May 31, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has received Bridget Brink, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Europe & Asia.

During the meeting it was stressed the successful development of bilateral relationships between Azerbaijan and the U.S. in the field of politics, energy and security.

The significance of the Southern Gas Corridor and the growing role of Azerbaijan in ensuring Europe's energy security were underlined.
