September 5, Fineko/abc.az. There is not much left before the start of classes in higher educational institutions. This means that students living in different regions of Azerbaijan go to the capital in search of rental housing.

ABC.AZ reports that according to real estate market expert Elnur Farzaliyev, due to the arrival of students from the regions in Baku, rental prices have increased:

"Compared with Jun-Jul, there is currently a 15-20% increase in rental prices in Baku. Apartments that were offered for monthly rent of 300-350 manats in the summer have now grown in cost to 400 manats. The main demand for rental housing is observed in Yasamal district – most universities are located in this area. Students who have not found housing in Yasamal district are trying to settle near metro stations. If the prices for rental housing are high, students go to such areas as Absheron, Khirdalan, Masazyr, located around Baku. At the same time, students spend several hours a day on the road."
