September 8, Fineko/abc.az. President of the European Bank for Reconstruction & Development (EBRD) Odile Renaud-Basso will visit Azerbaijan from 11 to 13 September.

ABC.AZ reports that the EBRD president will hold meetings in Azerbaijan at the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economy, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan and other relevant state bodies.

During the visit the main attention will be paid to the important role of Azerbaijan in the field of food safety, transport communications and energy.

So far the EBRD has given 3.6 bn euro to Azerbaijan within the framework of 181 projects. 89% of the portfolio consists of investments in sustainable infrastructure, 8% - in industry, trade and agribusiness, 3% - in financial institutions.
