September 8, Fineko/abc.az. President Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of the Republican Tuberculosis Sanatorium for Children & Adolescents named after Professor Gindes in Baku after major overhaul.

The new building of the sanatorium was constructed in accordance with the relevant Orders of President Aliyev.

ABC.AZ reports that Health Minister Teymur Musayev informed the head of state of the work done.

A new five-storey 300-bed building has been built for the sanatorium.

Physiotherapy and X-ray rooms, clinical laboratory, canteen, assembly hall, library, wards, and classrooms will operate at the sanatorium.

The sanatorium accepts children in the age groups up to 6 years and 7-17 years.

The sanatorium will organize 11-year education for children undergoing treatment in inpatient conditions, and thus the continuity of the educational process will be ensured.
