Oil gets more expensive, and Brent is at $89.92 a barrel

September 9, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are growing in Friday’s trading.

At the London ICE Futures Exchange the November’s Brent crude futures rose by $0.77 (0.86%) to $89.92 per barrel by 09:20 am. Following the trading on 8 September, the cost of November’s Brent crude futures increased by $0.29 (0.33%) to $88.29 per barrel.

At the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the October’s WTI oil futures increased in price by $0.53 (0.63%) to $84.07 per barrel by 09:20 am. Following the trading on 8 September, the price of October’s WTI oil futures grew by $0.37 (0.45%) to $82.31 per barrel.

This week, Brent crude oil fell by 5.09% and WTI by 5.25%.
