List of products whose prices have grown

September 12, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Aug 2022, the consumer price index in Azerbaijan made up 113.2% (versus Jan-Aug 2021), including 118.9% for foods, beverages and tobacco products, 107.2% for non-foods, 110% for paid services to the population.

ABC.AZ was informed at the State Statistics Committee that in August of this year the CPI was 100.9% against July and 114.2% versus August 2021.

This August, higher prices for individual food products than in the previous month led to an increase in prices for bread, flour, cookies, rice, pasta, beef, lamb and chicken, sausages, condensed milk, cottage cheese, cheese, eggs, vegetable oils, lemons, cucumbers, garlic, green beans, lentils, sugar and granulated sugar, sweets, cocoa powder, Coca-Cola drink, lemonade, beer, and the decrease was mainly for fresh fish, apples, pears, plums, peaches, watermelons, melon, grapes, tomatoes, onions, cabbage, peppers, eggplants.

There were no significant changes in prices for other food products.
