SOFAZ almost halved sale of foreign currency in May

June 1, Fineko/abc.az. The State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) keeps transparency of its foreign currency sales in the local market.

SOFAZ informs that last month it sold $422.7 million at currency auctions.

At April’s currency auctions SOFAZ sold $802.6 million and in the 1st quarter its foreign currency sales amounted to $1.3 bn.

In 2017 SOFAZ sold foreign currency for $3.597 bn at the auctions.
