Serbia to replace Russian oil with oil of this country

September 12, Fineko/abc.az. Serbia will not be able to buy Russian oil from 1 November because of EU sanctions, so it will try to replace it with "oil from Iran or some other".

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Russian media the above-said statement was made on Monday by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Mining & Energy of the republic Zorana Mikhailovich in an interview with the Tanjug agency.

"From 1 November, we will no longer import Russian oil, but first of all we will have oil from Kirkuk, we will have our own oil, and the rest will be Iranian oil or some other oil," Tanjug quotes the statement of the Deputy Prime Minister.

At the same time, the minister admitted that after the start of the war in Ukraine, oil prices have increased, except for Russian. In this regard, in recent months, Syria has been buying 55% of oil from the Russian Federation.
