Agreement signed with EBRD in connection with lighting of streets of Ganja


September 12, Fineko/ An agreement has been signed with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) on the implementation of a project to illuminate the streets of Ganja.

ABC.AZ reports that the document was signed by EBRD President Vodile Renault-Basso, Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikail Jabbarov, Finance Minister Samir Sharifov and Ganja Chief Executive Niyazi Bayramov.

As part of the project, modern lighting systems will be installed on 274 streets and avenues of the city, which will save up to 76% on electricity consumption.
