Israeli company to construct medical device manufacturing plant in Baku

September 13, Fineko/abc.az. The signing ceremony of the first agreement between the Alat Free Economic Zone and Israeli company BioPharmax took place in Baku.

ABC.AZ reports that the document was signed by Chairman of the Board of the Alat FEZ Valeh Aleskerov and CEO of BioPharmax Zarel Shen Tov.

The agreement provides for the construction of a Biopharma representative office in Azerbaijan, BioPharmax AFEZCO.

Aleskerov noted that three hectares of land will be allotted for the Israeli company.

"The company intends to use modern equipment for the production of medical devices. And the products will be primarily exported," he said.
