September 13, Fineko/abc.az. The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan is considering the possibility of expanding cooperation with Uzbek company Uzbekneftegaz.

ABC.AZ reports that the SOCAR delegation visited Uzbekneftegaz and its production facilities on 7-9 September.

The visit took place in accordance with the "roadmap" developed in order to expand cooperation in the oil & gas sector between Uzbekneftegaz and SOCAR.

During the discussions, petrochemical projects were touched upon, as well as the directions of SOCAR's activities.

Following the visit, the delegates expressed their readiness to continue the joint activities of the two companies and establish points of contact between the interests of the parties. The partners noted that Uzbekneftegaz has all the resources to implement modern high-performance projects.
