September 14, Fineko/abc.az. The EU Court of Justice has confirmed the decision of the EU Commission that the technology firm Google violated competition rules in the Android operating system, slightly reducing the fine.

The EU General Court ruled that the fine of 4.34 bn euro imposed on Google should be slightly reduced, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign media.

According to the decision, the court reduced Google's fine to 4.125 bn.

In 2016, the EU accused Google of dominating the market with the Android operating system and violating competition rules. The accusation comes from the fact that Google offers its own search and other applications installed on Android devices.
