September 14, Fineko/abc.az. Provision of employment is extremely necessary, and reforms are needed for this.

ABC.AZ reports that Labor & Social Protection Minister Sahil Babayev said this at a forum in Baku on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the partnership between the Government of Azerbaijan and the World Bank.

He noted that a large package of reforms has been implemented in this direction.

There are a number of points indicating that these reforms are mainly aimed at low-income families.

"The reform affected about 4 million people. And $4 bn was spent on this. Speaking of reforms, I would like to note that 400,000 contracts have been signed in the labor market. I consider it necessary to develop professional education. Currently, we are also cooperating with the Ministry of Education," the minister said.
