Iran signs a gas agreement with Russia - pipeline to run through Azerbaijan

September 20, Fineko/abc.az. Iran will soon receive 9 million cu m of gas per day from Russia through Azerbaijan and provide settlements in the southern regions with natural gas, ABC.AZ reports, referring Iranian news agency Fars.

In this regard, the heads of the relevant bodies of Russia and Iran have reached an agreement.

This July, a deal for $40 bn was signed in Moscow between the State Oil Company of Iran NIOC and Russian state company Gazprom.
