Meat has grown in price again in Azerbaijan

September 22, Fineko/abc.az. The prices for meat, which is part of the main consumer basket of the population in Azerbaijan, observed growth in August, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee.

In August, the price per kilogram of beef with bones rose on average from 11.35 to 11.68 manats.

The growth was 2.9%, which is the highest indicator after the one registered in March 2017 (6.9%). And the price per kg of boneless beef increased from 13.55 to 13.81 manats (2%).

A kilogram of lamb in monthly comparison rose by 2% - from 13 to 13.28 manats.

The price increase for chicken meat was slightly lower. In August, it amounted to 5.65 manats/kg, an increase of only 0.4%.

Prices for sausage grew by 0.8% to 13.19 manats/kg and for sausage rolls by 0.8% to 13.19 manats/kg.
