The largest share of transportation in Azerbaijan accounts for this type of transport

September 26, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Aug 2022, 892.2 million passengers were carried by road transport, for which the largest share of traffic in the transport sector accounts for, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee.

An increase of 25% was recorded this year compared with the 2021 same term.

94.1% of passengers used buses and 5.9% used passenger taxis. The passenger turnover increased by 24.3%.
