September 26, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan's gastrotourism opportunities have been presented at the Terra Madre Salone del Gusto Food Festival in Turin, Italy.

ABC.AZ was informed at the State Tourism Agency that the national stand presented information on Slow Food tourist route in the Greater Caucasus region, on the application of the Slow Food tourist model in gastronomic tourism, on the steps taken to preserve local biodiversity.

The festival also presented a menu compiled on the basis of catalog “Ship of Taste”, which included hazelnuts of Ata-Baba variety, Caucasian mountain honey, madrasah grapes, wild Caucasian rosehip, as well as more than 30 endangered products from Azerbaijan.
