Amazon to create a logistics base in Turkey

September 29, Fineko/abc.az. Amazon, one of the world's largest e-commerce platforms, has decided to create a logistics base in Turkey to meet the growing demand.

It is planned to invest more than $100 million in the project.

In the first year of operation the company will create more than 1,000 jobs.

It will support domestic and export operations of small and medium-sized companies that sell products on the Amazon platform.

According to the publication, the logistics center in Istanbul will open in the fall of 2022.

Hiring has already begun in the departments of design, of personnel management, of accounting and of information services of the future logistics center.
