Composite confidence index in Eurozone declined


September 29, Fineko/ The composite index of business and consumer confidence in the eurozone fell to 93.7 points in September.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the average calculation of economists who took part in the Bloomberg survey, the index was 95. This is the lowest level recorded since November 2020.

Thus, the index continued to decline in the 7th month.

The index declined across all categories, from services to industry. The largest decrease was observed in the consumer confidence index – minus 28.8.

Despite the deterioration of the composite confidence index, it remains above the lows of April 2020.
